Second part of the Tuscan adventures, with, today, Firenze and Pisa. We reach the Tuscan capital with small roads in the hills, before to arrive in the center and fight in the middle of Vespas.
For sure, motorcycle is wonderful to discover a region, but, for cities....it's zero. You have to carry helmet, clothes, and, moreover, weather was hot. So, we decide to simply have a look at the point of view on the heights, and, for churches and museums, I'll see during a week-end with plane.
Then we cross the city, having a look at the most famous sightseeing places, before going to Pisa using the highway, to see the world-known bended tower.
Hum, ok, local police is quite cool, but...here, around Campo dei Miracoli, where is the tower, it's really crazy. You have tenth of guys who want to seel you 'Rolex, Breitling very good price'. Once escaped from this situation, I must confess that this place is really charming.
Concerning the tower, it really bends (even not like John Hopkins, but...).
Now, we go back home, using little roads in the Appenins mountains. On our way, we face the surprising 'ponte del diavolo', devil's bridge.
We keep on the main road, before turning on a (very) secondary road, where we have a nice view on Pistoia's plain.
And we end that day with a few highway. At the exit, we already feel the GP atmosphere. There is a camping car full of tifosis wearing 46 caps there, spanish biker here...seems tomorrow will be great !!
