I escape camping and ride on E6 road. We go north, and vegetation turns consequently more and more stunted by long winter months.
I have a break for lunch just near a gas station in Mo I Rana, big (and only one) city of the area. Three girls and a guy riding Harleys are sitting just near me, and they have an amused look at my vibrationless plastic-made bike. Just after dinner, one of the girls, very proud, wants to start his wild machine. She kicks once, nothing...twice, no more. She stops a little and then tries again, as strong as she can. She's shaking bike, fuel is leaking from the tank. When she gives up, I go on my bike, use my little finger to press start button, and I go !! What about bikers solidarity...pff, they were 4, including 3 OK bikes, and I don't speak Norwegian, so....
I still go north, with the same landscapes around.
And here I see my first "stor reinfare" roadsign , beware of reindeers. Surprising, isn't it !!
And after a few kilometers, I reach Polar circle. I do that little 'souvenir' picture, in order to show off when back home.
I'm really in the middle of nowhere, and I like it !!
Day ends by a few kilometers along E6, and let's go to bed.
