The first day of holidays is not directly linked to the rest of the travel. I go to my family's home in southern Burgundy, from where I will go spending a week of alpinism in the Alps, before real start on July 23th.
It was a really good day, my itinerary using secondary roads - see road book was as perfect as usual : no trafic jams and only funny roads.
