Description

An unforgettable adventure in the far north of Great Britain, riding through the desertics highlands. Impressive, sometimes frightening, what more could I say...

That road is definitely not wide (it's one of these famous 'single track road', surfacing is not so good, but scenery is worth the trip !

This is a "wild" road through some deserted countryside. Beware of lambs in spring and biting midges(no-see-ums)in summer. Look out for a sheep on one side of the road and a lamb on the other which will run across when it hears you coming(they can be quite deaf but fast!) Use passing places on single track roads, whoever is nearest a passing place waits there for the other to pass. When in Tongue head due south,..... or North great roads. North Tongue-Melvich-Helmsdale-Alness. South Tongue Kinlochbervie-Lairg Or Just wander down the West coast to Skye....
